*******And By the way my post talks about the soul Exp things but that was just the tip of the icerberg.
Almost ALL GOOD ingredients you'll need is , guess where? Right in the back of that dungeon, right behind that giant TIMER !!
The only thing you dont have to craft or wait for is air. Everything else you will grind and don't forget those timers!!
Am i playing a stupid Fort Defense on my cell?? Or am i playing a freaking Online game on my PC wich only needs of your "well placed time" to get some good progress on. so you expect me to do those dungeons 1 time each. And go kill pleb monsters? I dont like how this game pretty much directs you in their path more than letting you chose for yourself.
Lol! hahahaha. For everyone's info though, you can sell items for Redzen. You just have to work hard to get to the point where you can get items worth selling.
"Bound Redzen
Bound Redzen cannot be used in the auction house.
Some products, such as enchantment-related items & gold/platinum services, may not be available for purchase with Bound Redzen.
Bound Redzen is credited to a user's MU Legend character. Bound Redzen is not transferable between characters. "
Webzen dear dear Webzen,
Just say "We are selling the most useless game currency ever brought to gaming history"
And then just add " We do not care about you . Busy trying to scamm you more "
You'll get the same effect~
The guts these people have.
It only destroys your own gameplay.
I used to play Perfect World games like Battle of the Immortals and spend 1000s of $ on them to progress faster then others, just to sit alone in the top 10 waiting for everyone to catch up so I could find a party to kill raid bosses with.
What I am trying to say, can you get the things that make you stronger in the game? If the answer is YES then you should stop worrying.
I now realize that companies add progression items for insanly high pricess.
Why? Its called the stupidity tax and it keeps the game running, all you can do is feel bad for the people buying those items because they literly paying money to have less gameplay.
And I talk from experiance, in my defence I was a teenager at the time :P
Wings gives you a buff , costumes aswell but its not a huge deal if you know how to play .
Theres also alot of teleporters around so its not a huge walk anyways.
And for Exp for right now it's perfect since i just bought it and im getting bonuses up the arse.
Just wish people would use that LFG system , for those Blood castle . Not everyone have a GUILD. And since i don't speak spanish it's gonna be double hard to get a group to do some essential dungeons.
I remember there used to be these games where you can get everything in the game without paying extra, except you buy the game. You should look up those ones.
Nobody is asking for free. This game definitely gouges however with their pay to rent garbage. There are several FTPs out there now with shops that do it right without people having to spend $50 to $100 a month to outfit a few chars. If Webzen updated their shop with a model somrthing along the lines of POE they would make a lot more money and have more people playing than they do now. The game itself is fun to play but their shop is draconian.
I think you seem to fail to understand that certain games have a huge player base and that is why they can have decent cash shop systems.
Games like Mu are populair but not that much that they could affort making people choose to pay a few bucks.
Games like this are funded by people willing to spent half there bank account for a small advantage.
Is it fair? Yes I think it is, in real life when a big donation is made they turn people into Vip too.
I honestly think people should stop complaining about certain games being pay to win.
In my time all mmorpgs where monthly sub, everyone had the same chance.
But wait! Here is comes, at that time people who where at top of the leaderboads where called no lifer and nerd and made fun of and said "You must live in your mums basement hur hur"
So they would add progresion locks into games.
The thing is people will always complain, it seems to be in our nature.
Personaly I learned in the 25 years I've been gaming (I am nearly hitting my 30s)
that some games are just to enjoy and if you do enjoy them who cares about some one having better stats then you?
If you want to compete games like Mu are the wrong place to messure skills at anyways.
I play Quake to get my competing urge out and for the rest I don't give a flying ♥♥♥♥ who is better or spents more money as long I have fun.
People who pay to win keep servers online, or are you saying that if they would make the cash shop more avordable everyone would buy ♥♥♥♥? Because thats not the case they researched it years and years ago and only 5-10% of the people in f2p games seem to buy stuff.
So making everything fluffy duffy is not going to keep a game running.
How do you know they wouldn't have a bigger player base? If they had a better shop they would certainly get more players and I'm not even talking pay to win. If you want to have the platinum service, wings and a costume that's $30 a month ffs. Not bad if you only run one toon. If you want to enjoy the game with some alts it's way too expensive. As far as your age goes I am more than double it and have been gaming since pong so do with that what you will. I can certainly afford anything I want in a game but I'll be damned if I'm going to spend the kind of money it would take to keep a couple of alts in good shape so they are going to miss the couple hun a year they would get out of me and others who feel the same way. The whales can have it.....
How do I know? Because if the game would be able to get such a huge player base it would already have happened a loooooong time ago.
There been many many Mu versions before, and even they have been a success that does not mean it generates enough income.
When you are a company you care about making money lets ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ face it, no one here is going to work for ---.FREE<---
So to keep bread on the table you need a functioning system and they are not as easy as some seem to think.
For example Battle of the Immortals (One of the biggest p2w games ever created)
Had one player spending over 35 000$ to get the strongest armor in game.
Thats enough to pay an entire dev team for a month to work on the game.
Game sucked but it was not because of the p2w, it was because the game was NOT fun if you did not spent money on it.
P2W and having a fun game for free players goes hand in hand.
Without people dropping money into the game a game would not be F2P
Like I said before a games like this used to have subs after you already bought the game
So people who drop money on the game kind of paying for your sub and thats why its f2p
Guild Wars did it in a way that you could buy the game then play for free for ever but they released expansions every 9-12 months that would cost 60$
Talking about games like Path of Exile and there pure cosmetics is cool and all but it wouldnt work for a game like this because people would not feel as pushed to buy ♥♥♥♥.
Beside that POE used to have a huge problem with storage which used to be insanly expensive and not having them would give you disadvantage in the leagues because you constandly had to think "what should I keep"
The thing is if you make cosmetics only there is no way they would make the same amount of money because there are a ♥♥♥♥ ton of people who don't care about cosmetic items.
