Possible problems/solutions
Hey guys, I have some suggestions for you to try, it seems like game-guard is the common problem for a lot of people, here are some methods in an attempt to update/install it without corruption(s) in the future. Note: please complete the steps in the order they are listed, I have prioritized them for you guys in order for the best possible outcome:
Make sure Windows is up to date.
The important updates available can make a huge difference and can affect almost any piece of software's performance! Most of them include security updates, this can help prevent malware/viruses effecting your PC. Windows update also keeps all of the Windows Features and Services/Up to date and running smoothly which will result in a healthy PC (These are literally the back bone of your PC. Doing this first is top priority. Some drivers/game files will not install properly until this step is successfully complete.
Make sure all drivers are installed and are up to date.
Updating drivers can enhance game performance, because hardware device manufacturer will update the driver for their device e.g. graphics card, after some new games and/or game patches are released, your hadware manufacturers release new drivers to support its hardware and keep it compatible with modern games/applications and ensure that everything runs smoothly. Technically a hardware component is simply a chunk of scrap metal and/or plastic until the required software is successfully installed to operate it. So if you want to play a new games, keep up to date with patches and game expansions, you are recommended to update drivers. This also allows hardware components to function to their potential.
Manage exclusions in all of your antivirus applications and even your firewall.
Even if you disable these applications, their settings are saved to the pc and any rules they enforce can sometime still make it through and end up blocking certain programs for example your game/game-guard which can result in the game/application being unable to function, even when you've disabled the software you think is affecting the problem. Also you should find the application files/.exe's of the relevant apps and exclude them from the antivirus/firewall detection.
Check file integrity via steam, mu legend properties, local files, verify.
Steam Verify Feature is very useful, powerful and polished tool, It alows steam to read the files of a specified game on steam and match them to a set of files located on a remote server, in the event that your game files do nto match, the correct files/software will be downloaded and installed, this ensures that you not only have all the required files, but that they are also up to date with the server-side files. This in turn ensures the your local client is compatible with the server-sided software and data.
Also run the file check provided with the MU Legend launcher.
Pretty much does the same as the steam verify but could potentially have a more up-to-date version of server-side software/files than steam as steam is a third-party platform and doesn't control the development of the MU Legend, it merely aids it.
Note: Now that you have done all of the above steps, firstly you want to check if your game is fixed as a result of running the file integrity checks, these checks are more likely to be successful after completeing all important windows updates, installing/up-dating all hardware drivers and excluding the relevant apps from anti-virus software & the windows firewall detection services. The reason the above steps might help are as follows; you're windows should now be functiong properly and so should your hardware. Any installations/applications that are relevant to MU Legend should now be added to the exclusion list of your antivirus software and the windows firewall service, upon completing this, your antivirus and firewall will no longer intefere/block the relevant apps when trying to install your game files.
If you're still having problems, it's probably time to make a fresh install of the game and relevant software. You can start with a fresh install hopefully resulting in non-corrupted game files.The last two steps will be unistalling the game and gameguard, please make sure you complete the uninstallation completely before initiating a fresh install.
If the above methods do not solve your problem(s), then some info about your system can help us to potentially identify the problem and/or solution, if you have the time you can include a "dxdiag" log in this thread, please follow the steps below.
Dxdiag is a windows diagnostic feature that scans for hardware components and any peripherals connected to the system, it also gathers details on them, this info can help us narrow down the possible cause of a problem, and possibly indicate similarities between separate errors or troubleshooting attempts in regards to any technical complication, and potentially shine light on solutions to the identified problem(s).
Running dxdiag:
Press the windows key.
Type in the search-form "dxdiag".
Hit enter.
An application will open called DirectX Diagnostic Tool (dxdiag).
A bar will show near the bottom left of the window, this indicates the progress of the scan while gathering the information about your components, allow the bar to fill until it has disappeared.
(IF you're using 64bit Windows you should click the "Run 64-bit DxDiag" button before following the next steps, however, dont bother running the 64-bit dxdiag IF you run a 32-bit operating system. Again when you've done this wait for the bar to fill and disappear.) and then click the "Save All Information..." button located at the bottom right of the window (next to the exit button).
This part doesn't matter too much but for the sake of sticking with me, please conform, save the file to your desktop's location/directory.
Where it says "File Name" enter the name "dxdiag4mu", and where it says "Save as type:" make sure it is set to "Text File (*.txt)".
Once you've changed these options you can click save resulting in a log of your system components and their details/specs now being located in a textfile on your desktop named dxdiag4mu(.txt).
To get the information to us you need to open the text file you saved to the desktop and select all of the text in there, to select all of the text simply right click anywhere in the txt file/notepad and click "Select All".
Next you need to copy the selected text, to do this, in the txt/notepad you need to right click again while hovering over the selected text with your mouse cursor and click "Copy".
Once you've copied the text you can paste the text anywhere that supports text format, and it will remain copied until one of two things happen. 1. You select and copy something else (this erases the original copied text and replaces it with the second piece of text that you copied.) 2. You turn off the computer, the clipboard information is lost upon the system losing power.).
(For selecting, copying and pasting the text, these keyboard shortcuts may come in handy in the future Ctrl+A selects all of the text from the active window, Ctrl+C copies anything selected and last but not least Ctrl+V pastes anything that is copied/saved to the clipboard to where you desire.).
In order to get the dxdiag info to the forum thread, I recommend you use pastebin.com to share the info, you'll be able to fit all of the information on one page there for sure and it wond clog up the thread.
Note: pastebin.com is really user friendly and free (with limitations), all you need to do is locate the big text-input-form, paste the desired information there, tweak the 4 simple settings, a name can often help people get a good first impression of what they're looking at.
Once you've finished filling in the required information you can finally click the create new paste button; taking you to a page with a variety of different links associated with multiple different formats/methods to choose from, simply postthe link here and we'll be able to check your hadware info.
For a dxdiag I recommend sharing the raw text link as it doesnt need to be pretty and its simple and easy.

That's the kind of thing that makes me think twice about playing. I don't doubt anything he didn't even let you open informing that the error was by cheating. That if you manage to play, your account will be banned out of nowhere in the future and the company still claims that her anti-cheat is foolproof and has proof that you cheated. It's a trap
