Game suddenly asking for location permissions
I just got a windows notification saying the game wants location and GPS permissions, but I've had this installed for a bit so its kinda out of the blue. Is this normal and for what purpose does this game need that?

The exact message was:
"
Let Windows and apps access your location?
"
" Crying Suns needs permission to use signals like GPS or Wi-Fi, which can be used to determine your precise location. "

Crying Suns contains a SDK designed to track attribution, mostly to see if the advertisements put in place during launch by ourselves and our publisher were effective. It was never implemented in a way that it would require your precise location though, so that's definitely strange and probably related to Windows 11.
However, we have removed this SDK in version 3.0.4 that will be released soon on mobile and after that on PC, so this problem should disappear completely in the future.

I think you can deny this permission and the game will continue to work perfectly fine.
