They named the ship "Gehenna"
They named if after an accursed place where children were burned in sacrifice to the idol Moloch.

In poor taste much? I uninstalled it. Buh-bye.

gee wiz bro, i guess you don't play any game ever, because they all include names and references to horrible things from history

I'm not gonna play any games made by or affiliated with Germans because at one point the majority of them were Nazis

Gehenna is the name of the world, and the ship's 'type' is named after the world it comes from. It's called Gehenna because the world is an uninhabitable place full of molten lava and other nastiness. It's rather appropriate honestly. I'll try not to give spoilers, but that world is supposed to be incredibly horrible and a place that others want to avoid for a reason.

You should have checked out, who Kaliban is/was.
Might suprise you as well ...

I think the names choosen in this game, are a sign of a well refined thought process.

No, not really. If you finish the story, you'll see that no "refined thought" went into it. The story is really pretentious, full of plot holes and very unsatisfying. The names are also pretentious.

Zeke is short for "Ezekiel" which is one of the books of the Bible prophesying the destruction of Jerusalem. Very poor taste. Mods please ban this user.

Its clear Zeke needs help and has a very destructive onset on life.

Imagine being triggered because a game made a reference to a fictional story :steammocking:

Gehenna is also a form of Purgatory in Jewish/Kabbalistic tradition. As far as I'm concerned, that fits the setting.

oh no. how terrifying. The horror. The name of a spaceship happens to be the same name of some obscure place where a fictional book said some bad stuff about the name. The absolute horror. Look at how miffed and just I am for knowing this and burning the mere existence of a word for a sin some random writer tattoo'd onto its back. raaahhh...
*has the most unamused face in existence* You really need to chill dude. Have a tea or some other calming drink of your preference.

The only thing that is important is that he uninstalled and not asked for a refund. Supposing this is not a troll from the beginning.
Man, imagine being this weak-minded. You bought a game where you're going to be engaging in galactic warfare using a clone and assisted by a crazy robotic AI, and you're upset that they referenced a book lol.
Yeah, get out of here, and go back to burning books and demanding that movies be censored on Amazon.

Man, 40,000 in Gehenna sure is a great book.

We need to stop caring about silly things. There are many great fictional books, comics, boardgames, and videogames exploring genocide, death, betrayal, greed, malice, ect. Often rooted in real life for fidelity. Explore these topics. Understand them. Learn from them. Resurrect the dead father (take the best of what you've grown up with). Be a resilient person.
