Some sort of Manual or decent wiki available?
Just looking for anything that can give me some idea of what exactly some of the skills, icons, up/down/red/green arrows and a lot of other tings mean. Like just a basic FAQ no spoilers. There is very little info available on skills and strategy tips etc, so I just would like to know what some of the descriptions mean for gear etc. Some are obvious but some are confusing as to what they actually do. The wiki is weak and looks pretty new so not much help.

The changelog for the patch actually gives great explanations on the new features, I just wish we had the same info available on the base features!

I agree and would like to see a manual as well.

for now hover over everything on the battle screen to get info.
the battle screen has info about ship heat levels and some other
information that might help.

I would just like to know how to activate a squadron ability like stealth mode, I have been looking around and still have no idea

I havn't played in months. lost interest. I believe it autoactivates at start of combat. deactivating when you fire. not sure if you can reactivate or how. (If a cloaking unit dies, and gets regenerated
and redeployed it will redeploy stealth activated. and of course patched.)

It seems to me you either have ship who's unique tech or auxiliary systems that makes them start in stealth, or when the cooldown is done after they're deployed they go into stealth automatically. IIRC the 4th battleship you unlock has this stealth tech. Otherwise you need to keep your fighters out of range until they enter stealth automatically which you can see the AI do when they don't have the starting tech. They'll hold their ships in one spot until they disappear.

As far as I can tell 0 abilities have any manual activation. You can give order to move which double as attack orders if the enemy occupies the space or you can direct your own battleships weapons, but you can't control anything else. I think it's actually a really elegant way of handing things. It gives a lot of tactical choice without too much micro.
