Ogre Forts - Lord Lanceduk does not recognise my feats
I have successfully raided both forts and killed the two leaders, however the abovementioned lord will not recognise this. What did I miss? I did not fully clear the southern fort (groups of ogres in the dining area are left).

Any hints?

Fixed in v1.10 (which I will release today).

After you download the new version, make sure to enter and exit both forts.

Also, other unrelated question on how Arcance is supposed to be calculated. Is the number in the screenshot correct? Seems off to me... :-)

Please send me the save file (silverlemurgames@gmail.com). It can be found here: "C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Legends of Amberland\saves\"

As for Arcane, are overcumbered? Note that you get massive penalties to Arcane while being overweighted (which sometimes can be confusing to new players I guess).

If it's confusing, and it apparently is, you should explain that in the game.

That tooltip in the screenshot above where it shows "Total 25" should also show the penalty amount you are losing due to being over-encumbered.

Having the same issue with the ogre forts.

Just went back in and explored 100% of the tiles and could complete the quest after.

It seems that the Ogre Forts are tied to the monster behind the sealed doors at the bottom, which seems strange as the quest only give you +500 Exp when turning it in and you need to have done the Ivory Tower to open the seals.
It feels like this is a bug.

I completed the quest without doing the red door, I just walked over every tile.

So did I, it didnt complete for me until I opened the sealed doors

This save is at the very end of the game, I've been behind one of the sealed door of the northern ogre fort but not the southern. The quest still does not seem to register as complete, it does however after going back to the southern fort and going behind the sealed door.

Yeah, I'm a "tile clearer" in this game and I've cleared all tiles in both keeps and cannot get past the sealed doors which I presume is where the "Leader" is. I did kill an "Ogre Commander" in each of the castles and assumed it was just a typical typo which seems pretty prevalent in this game (understandably since I'm guessing English is not the designer's native tongue.)

In any case, I'll try the Ivory Tower per KnM's suggestion... I'll post back when I've confirmed his findings.

How far into the game is this bug/issue/problem? I want to buy the game, but I'll wait for this bug to get fixed if this happens early on in the game.

Question: have you started playing this session (save) with version 1.00 or you used saves from early access (version below 1.00)?

It's an early side quest, but not a relevant one.

Anyway, I had problems with this location during EA, so I know what the bug is, I will fix it in the next version.

i had an issue with this since i killed one of the bosses before getting the quest, going in and out of the castle was enough to fix it.

If you're talking about my savefile, its 1.0. I bought the game 2 days ago.

When will this next version be, please, with this quest fixed. Any quest breaking bug is relevant in my opinion. I hope the update with the fix gets posted today.

I had to kill EVERY single monster in both forts. NOT including what's behind the red doors. Even then it sometimes won't complete right away. I'd have to wander around, rest, etc, then go back and try again to turn it in and it would work every time (i've restarted and played again from the beginning several times).
