Not exactly sure what you are referring to, can you explain a bit what you mean?

Cheers!

I actually hate this too. It's horrible when driving. Camera needs to be snappier and more responsive like in ETS2/ATS. I was looking for means to disable the smoothness ingame but didn't find any. Overall I'm really enjoying the game but it still needs more polishment. Physics do feel great though, and driving with steering wheel feels amazing.

Hello, are you talking about the interior camera or the exterior one?
Starcake Nov 29, 2023 @ 12:37pm
I can't speak for others but myself, I'm talking exclusively about the interior one (first person driving). There is a certain delay/smoothness, not sure how to call it, that makes it harder to deal with than it should. While it does look good, it makes looking around in first person a bit more difficult. Perhaps add it as an option?

The exterior cam looks fine to me.

Thank you for replying! As I said, so far I'm loving the game. The potential it has is immense and it already shows! You guys did a fantastic job on the physics. Best physics I've seen in a delivery/hauling sim driving game so far.

PS: I play using a steering wheel and pedals. T248 900º.

Ok I understood. Then you basically want it to work more like an FPS game I suppose. Simply getting input rotating camera instantly.

Great to hear you enjoy it. Tomorrow there is a big update which will improve it further ;)

Yes. You described it perfectly. More like a FPS camera 1:1 instant move input, no acceleration or deacceleration and no input delay would be ideal because when we are driving, all decisions have to be taken fast as far as reflex and reaction goes to avoid running into something or crashing.

Perhaps it could be an option, then folks could choose which they like more for themselves. Maybe like a toggle where you have it like "Camera Smoothness: On/Off".

Once again, thank you!

how do you setup t248? When i mapped car was driving only if i keep pushed clutch and brake together. So i remapped the buttons throtle on brake, And now car drives only when i keep clutch and throttle at the same time. Maybe need to switch throtle with clutch :)

Hi, in the control mapper there is a calibrate option.
After opening it, try changing invert, zero and sensitivity to achieve this.

Pedal unpressed: White arrow in the middle.
Pedal fully pressed: White arrow at the right.

Thank you that worked. First impression - drives better than taxi driver simulator.
