It's unplayable for me

Hey guys,

maybe I'm just too dumb or did something wrong but.... I can't even start driving in the game!

The steering wheel always is 100% turned left and its always in reverse gear. So if I start the engine, it drives backwards all on its own and I cannot do anything against it.

On top of that, my menu is weird as well. It always scrolls down, even though I don't push any buttons, scroll with the mouse or anything.

I would love to finally test the game. Can anyone help?

It sounds like you are getting input from a game pad or HOTAS that you may have plugged in.

Please use the control mapper in the pause menu, you can see what is conflicting with the input. You probably have another device that game is getting input from. When you disable it in control mapping, or if you unplug that device, it should work fine.

I tried that. But there is nothing put in or plugged in that could cause this. In the mapping I chose the blank option, so nothing could get in the way. But the problem still exists. It's really weird and I don't know what I can do.

So do you really see no controller listed in Control Mapper screen? Please double check that.

Otherwise its a problem with your keyboard, down arrow might be always pressed for some reason.

Hey mate, I think I might have an answer that might work. Check if you have vJoy installed on your PC. Go to Device managers- View-Device by connections and see if you see vJoY there. Right click on it and uninstall it completely. It will ask you to restart your computer, do that and relaunch the game. See if the problem is fixed.

I only had my Thrustmaster TMX steering wheel plugged in to my PC and I can not map it correctly as the cursor seems to have a mind of its own.

In case it is useful to someone: I solved the continuous scroll problem on my G923 by calibrating the clutch pedal that was causing the conflict. In order to get to the menu I had to keep the pedal pressed at 50% until I could set invert the axis and define zero (since by default it takes the axes as combined)

RB doesn't work on the telehandler, everything else works but I can't use my bumpers on controller for whatever reason.

If default mapping is missing the bumpers, please pause the game and open Control Mapper and then map the missing ones.
