Opposite team instructions

I remember on previous FM versions I could set OTI by position and then leave it and forget about it and then every game those instructions would be automatically implemented.

I can't seem to find that option anymore! Or actually I think it's bugged cos I've tried setting it up in the tactics by position but every game there are none set and I have to do it manually.

Can someone tell me how they do it so I can know if it's me or bugged?

In tactics you got this (I change them only if in-match green tactical suggestion suggest me this, when match starts assistant arange this instructions for me)..if you are not sure how to do this, in staff responsibilities tick option to assistant arange opposition inst. for you (JPA and tactical knowledge attributes from your assistant must be very high to arange them properly, also assistant's preffered tactic (1st or 2nd) must be as your main tactic for quality aranged instructions.

I've been using my AM sometimes, but don't always trust him. Plus i'm trialing some permanent OTI i want

So I've unticked the box that gives him control.

I go to my tactics screen, click on OTI and then have two choices; by player or by position.

I've tried by both, but when i get to the match and the team talk screen and click on OTI anything I have pre-choosen has been reset or not implemented!

So I have to put the instructions in again!

Is it me or is my save bugged?

I'm assuming that you've set OTI on your Tactics screen 'by position', however when you're in the OTI screen in match they're defaulting to the 'by player' setting instead.

I have things set up this way also, however I have to manually switch the OTI settings in match to 'by position' in order for those to take effect because the default setting is 'by player' on that screen.

What cheeses me off -- and makes me wonder if SI actually test their ♥♥♥♥ properly -- is after a sub or a player position switch, those 'by position' settings revert.

The whole idea of using them is they apply regardless of the player.

Quite decent energy I invest in day-to-day managment of the club, of course something that is not visible here is that I also in training sessions deciding on training intensity, choosing of player traits, developing new positions for players and choosing player roles on trainings, also all individual motivations of players in day-to-day management I do . Although until FM19 I always runs my general trainings, now I'm reduce my workload, but you should try to invest this kind of energy as I do and U will see that is not so simple🤫

Same point. Before this fm I always maintain everything on my own.

This fm (or 2018 or 2017 idk, last fm I played was 2015) introduced a lot of assistance. But I dont like it. I prefer I manage it on my own. Just my 2 cents, Diegorinho.

Sounds like it's bugged.

Nothing I do works. I've tried everything I can see.

Whenever I start a match and get to the teamtalk screen and click "Set opposite team instructions" everything is unselected and empty for both by player and position.

I'll post in the bug forum, see if SI has an answer.

Yeah, but dont expect too much. I have been protesting active/non-active state of play that caused offside problem in the game. Others too. But they just ignored it. So, I'm just gonna skip the next game like I always do and wait for 4-5 years hoping they fix the problem.

Basically FIFA, same $h1t, different cover.

Haha, this just shows you don't understand English. No wonder when people ask you about things, you always answer "morale boost and stuff". Try ask your Assistant Manager what I'm saying.
