Your just not managing the finances properly.
actually i am managing my finances fine and been playing fm and champ manager longer than most people 15 years or so so i know wha tim doing im an expert lol . the finances are fked end of
The BPL is the only league with a Prizepool and huge TV revenue.
If you play for more than 15 years like me, then you would know there was no prizepool at all.
Teams like the Madrids, Barca, PSG, Man Utd, Chelsea Arsenal etc get so much money from global merchandising they probably don;t even need to sell tickets to turn a profit.
Something like 18 out of the 20 Premier League clubs in England would turn a profit without selling a single home ticket.
There is a reason why Juventus are better off than Sassuolo, they are merketed better, have a global fan-base and sell millions of euros-worth of shirts, key rings, cups, mouse pads, posters, calender's etc.
If you are a 'small' club, first thing to do is get your finances in order, structure the player wages, don;t go silly in the TFR market buying players you can't really afford. Bulid slowly on the pitch - use the youth and loan system - then when seeing some success start to 'sell' the club, get some Affiliates for marketing, as your reputation grows, so will the extra revenue from elsewhere. Get into the Champions League regularly to develop a revenue stream.
It can be done, but the game keeps it realistic as well. It can be a long haul for smaller clubs. FM19 doesn't know your history with the game, and having played for 15 years, there are no allowances for your 'expert' status. The game has evolved to mimic/simulate the real world with a lot becoming more realistic than before - including the finances.
Every club sells in football. The trick is, to have an adequate replacement lined up for purchase who is younger and cheaper. That way I make 10-30 million a year selling 1 or 2 players and still not really losing any quality.
I don't like buying or introducing more than 2 or 3 players a season to the 1st team and it works.
I took Leyton Orient to the Premier League and never went into debt. I sold at least 2 players a season, mainly talented youngsters or older players who I was not going to keep for long, and kept replacing them with good talented 20 year olds from everywhere.
You just can't play smaller or medium clubs the same as the big boys. At least not until you have that 60.000 seater stadium and are finishing in the C/L qualification places every year.
It doesn't bother me, in fact I consider it to be the only real challenge in this game.
So the predicated finances project a loss - when you played for a season did you end up with a significant loss?
this year its been a bit harder but not sure yet about the sponsorship money
also brexit kind of screws up the brazilian wonderkid hunt. as i wont be able use them in my teams myself without paying for them a lot right from the start i think
im only about 5 seasons in just getting into L1 somehow winning L2 during same year i came up.
