Cannot Save? Fix here!
If you've just started the game, hit save game or ctrl + s and it says "Save Game Failed", and you've gone through and the whole checking permissions, disabled anti-virus etc. etc. and it's still an issue, please try adding ".fm" to the end of your save game file.

Here's what to do:
1) Click 'Save Game As'
2) Give it any name you like
3) Add ".fm" (without the quotation marks)
4) Click 'Save'

You can now use Ctrl + S to save, and it appears on the main screen.

I had this problem too but i noticed that the saved game does not have a file extension, so i look up fm 2018 saves format and apply it on 2019
