Bug: Can't progress the game

Tried to sign a scout, successfully negotiated contract, he accepted, tried to end turn and I can't, at first there was a strange screen I never saw before, it was all grey and said something about how I'd negotiated a contract and could change it by clicking on something (I forget exactly what it said), I went to the scouts contract screen but the contract was all finalised, the only button available for me to click was 'walk away', so I click that but I still can't end the turn.

Reluctantly I cancelled the contract altogether, however i still cannot progress. So I am stuck with a 'Must respond' button which takes me to the contract negotiation screen and every button except walk away is greyed out, the scout no longer appears in my 'Transfers in' list so the contract is definitely voided but despite this the scout remains 'pleased everything was sorted so quickly', and all I can do is 'walk away', which takes me back to 'Must respond' which takes me back to the contract negotiation screen. Basically the game is stuck in a loop and there is no way to break out of it.

Edit: saving, exiting and restarting the game fixed it, I'll leave this post here in case anyone else encounters the issue.

Mine is similar... you actually have to cancel your offer on every screen... but my question is why this happens in the first place.

yeah, wondering too, I just linked this thread because restarting fixed it for me, it's clearly a bug but thus far the devs seem uninterested.

I ran into this BUG multiple times. WHEN you have negotiated a contract, and the game still wont advance, save the game, then reload. should work just fine. I think, sometimes when you do not "exit talks" it gets suspended and wont let you advance....but im not sure. All I know is, when it happens, I save the game, and reload that save and it works. Enjoy!
