Please help: Unable to initialize SteamAPI

Hi all! I tried a lot...deinstall, start as admin, etc....

But I alwas get the message on startup:

"Unable to initialize SteamAPI.
Please make sure Steam is running and you are logged in to an account entitled to the game."

Solved, but unbelievable! Ich had to deinstall my firewall (comodo) and to deactivate Windows Defender. After that I was able to start.

So I reinstalled my firewall and got the error message, again. The whole application was in the container and needs to get allowed manually. Before I tried to allow single .exe files, but this doesnt help.

hi i have installed it twice now and still say steamABI, what do i do next am getting p*** off now

COMODO has been known to be quite invasive in the past and interfere with Steam games - have you added the entire Steam platform as an exception as well?
