I can't save anything! What gives?

Got the game and it's pretty good but I can't save anything. It always says "save cannot be created." I have tried both local and cloud, tried different locations, tried restarting the game, tried making a new profile. Just can't seem to get anything to save,

Is Big Picture mode active while you're playing the game, by any chance? Seems to be a bug involving that where it'll save your game, but forget the file extension (.fm) so the game won't recognize it.

Try unplugging any controllers you've got plugged in, if you have them.

When you guys go to your local save directory (usually Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2019\games), does it show the missing saves in there without an extension?

Yeah I have the same problem. If you do a "Save As" and just add .fm to the end of your save name, it works fine! Seriously weird bug though...
