Players moved to B team are always 'unavailable for next match'

I am playing as Atletico Madrid and have set up 2 managers so I can manage the first team and the B team so I can control development of youth players. As manager of the first team I have recently bought in numerous young players and moved them to the B team. When playing as manager of the B team and picking the players they appear to be available, but when i try to proceed to match, it states they are unavailable and the Una icon then appears next to their name although it wasn't there before. When I click on it, it just states 'Unavailable for next match' with no reason and not stating when they will be available. Is this a known bug that needs fixing? I play this game primarily to develop youth players and brings them into the first team. If I can't move players into the B team and play them then I have no interest in playing the game. Any help from devs would be appreciated. Thanks

Just found out i have the same problem. This worked fine in previous versions of FM, seems the game is getting worse instead of improving.

Also, this seems to be a basic thing, why it has not been fixed already is beyond me...

Is there a rule for your B Team that only u21 can play in that team?

Click on the league where the B Team is playin in and have a look at the rules for the league.

When u organize some friendly games for the B Team i guess your players are all availabe. So for the B Team League matches theres probably a rule you didnt figured out yet.

The players that are unavailable are ones brought up from u19 squad. And the matches on wich they are unavailable are friendlys and league games. I already inscribed the whole squad for the league games, still unavailable. I thought some where not available because of having youth contracts, but i given all proffessional contrats and they are still not available.

Usually it says why any player is not availabe - not inscribed, on international duty, league regulations, but in these cases the is nothing. I saved a game directly from FM to the cloud, i dont know if you can check it that way.
I also uploaded using the link you posted.

I moved the players from u19 to b team and inscribed them for the league. In every prevoius versions, if he is in b team he can only play for other teams (u19/u23) if i select "available to play for 45/75/90 mins...".

I found out that if i resign the manager on the B team and then add another manager, the players that where unavailable become available. That seems to be the only way. Any other player moved from main team or youth teams to B team while the maneger is alredy in control of B team, those players are always unavailable with no reason.

When you buy a young player, what do you do?
I control FC Barcelona, and after buy a young player, I move them to Barcelona B. After that, I go to FC Barcelona B inscription seccion, and select them. Always into a transfer market window.

If you incript them to first team, they will never been avaiables for the second team. It's better inscript them on second team, and rise up to first when yo need. Remember, if one player play 10 league matches, he'll can'r comes back to second team.

Hi Neil, after 15 seasons in game, I'm now in the La liga Spanish league, and now i'm facing the same issue as op, any solution for this? Btw, I never had this problem in English Premier league.
