Constant crashes
I have been getting ridiculous amounts of crashing as of late. I have done many things to try to fix my issue but so far no luck. I have updated my graphic card, disabled custom graphics, deleted my preferences and cache file, turned off my anti virus and still nothing works. Sometimes if I uninstall the game it will work then other times it doesn't do anything. What confuses me the most about my problem is that if I somehow get through the constant crashing and get through the first two weeks after loading the save I wont have a problem for the rest of the time I play until I close football manager and try to play the game later and the issues start to appear again. I never had any problems with previous versions of this game.

You are probably better off posting over at the official SI forums. Are you using a custom dbase? If so that may well be a cause. Have you tried running another game that your computer can handle?

Same problem here. 400 hours in game, not a single crash till this week. I havent change GPU drivers or anything. Reinstalled the game, loading old save which worked for weeks. Always keeps crashing at same point/turn/date.

OK for the info., i think i found the solution, works without any crash so far. Open the Steam as administrator (right click -> run as ...), then run the game as administrator aswell. Dont run the game from desktop shortcut, neither from Steam. Go to folder where the game is installed, usually "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Football Manager 2019", then run "fm.exe" as administrator. Hope it helps anyone :)

Crikey haven't had to do that for a game for years. Last one was Blitzkrieg, but copy the icon to my desktop. Just changed the file path by right clicking and change the target. That created a shortcut from the start icon. So you can start a game from the desktop. That might still too if that helps.
