Work permit problem

OK, maybe I'm thick but I can't seem to find the "apply for work permit" option under player profile.
Due to Brexit, two loan players are suddenly having a "WP" (work permit needed) icons, but I don't know how to apply for one.
In older versions, I know the option was somewhere on player profile. How about in 2019?

Any help would be appreciated :)

When you are in the player's interface, under the dropdown menu for Contract, you should see an option to apply for work permit.

If this fails, because of not enough international caps or whatever, there's a 6 month period before you can re-apply (during which you won't see the option to re-apply). This applies to players already at your club but not currently having the work permit.

For players that are newly purchased, the process is pretty much the same, except that you are allowed to appeal once before the 6-month period kicks in on rejection. Usually, appeal only works for marginal cases, but it's always worth trying if you can.

Hey thanks for the help.
But I think here, the problem is different.

Direct case of mine : I have Andre Schurrle in Fulham squad and he is on loan for 2 seasons (it is the same in real life). During this loan Brexit happened (after 1st season) and now he is having a "WP" icon (needs permit) but there is no option to apply for one (and I don't think I need to given that Brexit rules were shown as "new rules don't apply to existing contracts").
The other case is a loan of Joao Felix from Portugal. I loaned him for the second season now and he came back to the club and again - no option to apply for permit, nor did the option show in the messages (usually - transfer of this player is hold subject to Work permit) - but the icon is there.

Hope that makes sense. But the more I think about it - maybe I should report it as a bug?

I'll wait for the season to start to see if I'll be able to play them in the squad anyway (if so, then this is 100% a bug).

Never mind, it was a bug and it got fixed with today's update :)
