FM19 editor problem

So I'm not talking about the in-game editor, but the separate database editor.
The problem I'm having is that the tool doesn't seem to load the game database, at all, ever I've tried multiple times and it goes through the process of loading, but no data (clubs, leagues, players) appears in the editor. All I wanted to do is add U23 team to some LLM teams as apparently any team that does not have one will never have one -.- which sucks as that seriously cripples a team in player development in the english leagues. (the team I am talking about is FC United of Manchester) Anyone know what the issue with the database editor is? I haven't touched it since I think FM17 so don't know why it wouldn't work.
