Use Youth Facilities

got message about transfer policy. I got recommendation to use youth facilities. what does it mean? what can i do or what should i do?

It is advising you to look to your youth, u18s or u23s, for players to bring through rather than use the transfer market.

Usually get this message because you have a tight budget/limited funds, or have a very good youth set up.

Google up using the youth system in Football Manager, there is heaps of good advice for youth development around. Get the best HoYD you can and put in board requests to improve the facilities and save yourself some spending.

It can also be a good way to help the club financially if you bring decent youth through and sell them on.

It is a long game though, usually from Youth Intake day to First Team you are looking at four or five seasons at least.
