I often put the historical officers into their own states---like all the early Han together, all the Tang dynasty together, etc.
I also make myself and my friends into the game. Once I made Napoleon Bonaparte, for some reason.
The game is a lot of fun. I would like to see more DLC.
I'm old enough to have played KOEI games on the NES. They had Liberty or Death (American Rev War), L'Empereur (Napoleon and French Rev), Genghis Khan, Uncharted Waters (age of exploration) and so many other awesome games. I wish they'd remake these and update them.
I really like this turn and hex based WEGO game system and hope they'll use it to model other periods of Chinese ancient history like the Qin period that's being depicted brilliantly by the Japanese anime "Kingdom". I love how we can surround units through maneuver thanks to hexes.
