And of course Warhammer has more players, it is fantasy. That is like saying "More people like Lord of the Rings or Harry Potter than Bernard Cornwell novels, so The Last Kingdom series is crappy". Historical titles simply do not sell as well, especially in the West, as fantasy. Hence why you see SO MUCH fantasy, and historical titles are fairly niche.

When I started playing TW:TK, I also felt that KOEI had drop the ball with RTK13 and that they would be in serious trouble if they did not come back to their classic strengths (Instead of the role playing genre aka general storyline). But, the problem with TW:TK is the lack of focus on city, empire building and storyline. Its a war game, not a empire building one. So, I am still hoping that KOEI got the best of all strategy genre and put this into RTK14. Can wait to play it in English
