Did they give up on the game?

Why was the last update February of last year? With all the issues and complaints the game has wouldn't they release more fixes and updates, or did they just give up lol.

Now Rogue Company has been in "maintenance mode" for a long time, in short the game remains online without any new content.
Whether or when there will be updates is anyone's guess, but as I see it, either the servers will be shut down in the future or they will sell the IP so that something big can come out of it.

This information has been known for 2 years. There is no new information or status yet.
