Reasons to stop playing Rouge Company.
- The "Report System" is a joke! I've read multiple posts stating that hackers/cheaters only get banned, if someone who's a big streamer reports them.

- And if you're thinking about switching to console to avoid them, then you need to read this!

The developers are incompetent, and don't care about you!

- i do meet cheaters but tbh after i report them i never see them again and its like 1 every 60 matches that i meet them so i dont feel too much trouble about it.

- not even using console so yeah...

- i willl say that the devs did good so far but still not perfect and there are problems and issues etc but i wont called it as incompetent.

- So far i do enjoy the game etc so well maybe you should change the title to "Reasons why I stop playing Rogue Company" or maybe reason? because i think if im not wrong your point is because there are cheaters in this games like most any others game out there.

Their incompetence is due to them forcing Crossplay with the (new) Xbox, which runs Rouge at 120fps, while the other systems are capped at 60fps.

This is not cs go, fps does not help you that much, this isn't a first person shooter.

Whether it's 1st-person or not, doesn't make a difference. It's the player's skill & reaction time that matters. And having a good connection/ping. So someone that's very sensitive to High fps, has a slight advantage.

If your framerate is garbo then will affect your reaction times and ability to track targets in any shooter, not just First person, there's only so much you can compensate for with skill once framerate and ping start to hold you back. LTT has a vid with Shroud on it answering the age-old question "do fps and refresh rate actually matter?" and the conclusion is yes (well duh)... up to a certain point (not really surprised here either).

Yeah, I was thinking about that video when I was typing post #4.

I play on PC and I have looked and looked on how to turn off crossplay and don't see it listed anywhere as aim assist is a disadvantage to ppl playing on PC
midnttigr Sep 23, 2021 @ 1:33am
your FPS is also capped by what your monitor will refresh too so if you have a 60Hz monitor for instance your FPS will cap at 60 FPS...if is 144Hz max's out at 144 FPS etc etc as a rule of thumb

all I know is that I would love to be able to disable crossplay I turn it off in all other games...this is the only Hi-Rez game you can't turn off crossplay...and also ppl getting banned is useless all they do is make a new account as the game is free to play

As long as you have a good internal prediction system you should be fine. I used to play Delta Force back in the 56k modem days and used to snipe with a SAW machine gun from crazy distances. It was prediction that let me do that.

And if you don't have a good prediction system then you won't be that good even with high fps.

Crossplay settings is only available on console. And the only way PC can X with console, is if you or they are friends with someone, and adds them to the match.

Note: Aim Assist has been nerfed, and barely even noticeable now!

{Speaking from personal experience.} My main account is on PS4; I stopped playing for about 2 months, came back, went straight to the shooting range, and didn't even noticed it!? It looked and felt like they completely removed it from the game.

So either they nerfed it, or removed it. 🤷🏻‍♀️

The only other "aim assist" in the game, is for the gyro sensor (a.k.a. DS4 motion senor).
The Xbox doesn't have this feature.

I don't play with anyone but myself so your analogy of I have to be friends with someone to play crossplay is wrong....and as I said Paladins and Smite have the option to turn off crossplay Rogue Company should have it as well...and just because they nerfed aim assist doesn't mean it doesn't exist...shouldn't be aim assist in any game in my opinion...you choose to play with a controller or with a KBM...back before there was aim assist that is what we would refer to as an aimbot

You misunderstood what I'm saying, so I'll try to explain it in a longer and differently way.

If you, your opponents, or 1 of your teammates has a friend that plays on console, they can add them to their (PC) team, but it doesn't work they other way around.

So in other words, Console players can get into PC lobbies, but PC players cannot get into Console lobbies. You understand it now?
