Full controller mapping configuration?

Does this game support full controller mapping configuration? I want to be able to map any action to any button I like (jump, interact, attack, menu, etc) and not be limited to hardcoded mappings or predefined controller profiles. I prefer a native, in-game UI to manage the mappings, but am willing to edit the mappings in a config file if no UI exists. I do not want to use third-party mapping programs as they are usually nothing but problems. Also not interested in using Steam's Big Picture mode.

This is about controller mappings, not mouse or keyboard.

Yes it does support remapping the controller mappings. It does seem to be a little clunky when I just verified it now so I'll have to polish it up a bit at some point but it does work

Even if it's not polished, it's all good so long as the controls themselves are smooth and responsive after the mapping. I will most likely buy this game before the sale ends. Thanks for the response and I look forward to checking it out.
