So this game has been in development hell for years and now that it’s finally released they decided that adding an option to listen to English voices wasn’t important enough? I thought that they were going to improve this game from the ground up but I ain’t seeing anything even remotely close to that at all. By all means this game is quite clearly unfinished and as such shouldn’t have been released yet.

Who would want to hear Aoi saying "ain't"? The english DUB is the least of the problems. If anything the translators did a shoddy job. I could see Minoru using "ain't", but they have practically all of the characters using it which is just bad. I don't have any evidence to back it up as I don't 100% know Japanese but it's pretty obvious the dialogue isn't being 100% accurately translated either.

I actually like the game, despite it being more basic in it's gameplay mechanics than I would have liked(I honestly would have preferred for example each choice giving points in different categories so that you could potentially have a balanced wrathful, morality, and harmony traits if you wanted, leading to Greymon, while having another digivolution for morality, for example). I don't think it's a bad game, but I do think that some of the systems are pointless, and some could be done better.

Voice actors have no influence on the script. It could be the translator, script writer, or maybe even the director.

I can't imagine what it's like being a sub elitist though, being physically unable to insult and trash dubs with every breath they take. Just let people enjoy things. It doesn't take away from your enjoyment.

It´s ok if the game is not for you or not what you expected but you are just trolling at this point.
This game is OBJECTIVELY neither broken nor unfinished or "crap" like you said.

Partially true but it doesn´t change the fact that it will most likely happen because entries like this go to VA studios with said writers or translators to butcher it.

I am only about 40 hours in, picked it up after the Anime came out last year as I wanted to learn more about the story. Its my first VN and it taking me some time to get through as I have to be in the mood to just want to read. I am at the Lacrosse Training right now so no idea how much I have to go, bit of a slow reader as well.

If it's butchered I'd be putting the blame more on the translator/localization team, not the actor who is just doing their job. There have been sub only releases where the translation is just garbage.

Yea, it was clear to me this game is no where near completion. I was surprised when opening the map loads up to another screen rather than just opening the menu.

Each to their own of course, I'm really enjoying the game. But there is so little voiced dialogue anyway outside of certain cutscenes that you wouldn't notice if there was English instead of Japanese dub, as you have to read most of it anyway.

You complain that it doesn't have dubbing in English because I'm glad it doesn't have it because that way they've spent that time translating the texts into other languages, yours is pure selfishness there are many people who couldn't play other games because they didn't even have the texts in their language and you complain because you don't have the voices in English that really doesn't help it reach more people if not less, I have friends who if it wasn't translated in their language they wouldn't have played it, so I prefer 1000 Sometimes you have a multitude of translations to do a dubbing in English and translate in fewer languages
