Can I choose a digimon or something? Abd how good is it?

I have noticed some mistakes here and there as well as the obvious one that bothers me is using evolution instead of digivolution as the term. In japan do they not use the term digivolve?

I just bought the game last night and booted it up on steam deck and it was fine. today was different, i couldn’t get any of the face buttons or triggers to work. Anyone else experience this on the deck/have a fix?
