Bad Design Choices from Fazbear Entertainment

Let's do something stupid. Let's point out all of the flaws on Fazbear Entertainment's in-universe record. Let's over-analyze a video game series by looking at how soundly the company would survive in the real world.

Observations and Unseen Headcanons are both allowed

General

- Huge ducts and vents children can easily crawl through. (Salty)

- Letting animatronics they KNOW are deadly roam at night. (Salty)

- Repeatedly covering up Nightguard deaths. (Salty)

- General unprofessionalism + Odor. (Salty)

FNAF 1 - Freddy Fazbear's Pizza

- Restroom Cameras. Granted, they're in the hallway, not the stalls, but still odd.

- Kitchen Camera isn't fixed for over a week, potentially longer.

- Putting Pineapples on Pizza

- Keeping the place open when there's clearly signs of murder floating around the animatronics.

- Giving the threatened Night Guards limited power to save on the electricity bill. (Salty)

FNAF 2 - Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, 1987

- Leaving out a dismantled animatronic for CHILDREN to play with, without removing any bits and pieces that could be choked on or cause stab wounds.

- Look at the camera map. There is no place that a kitchen might be.

- - Letting an animatronic bite a child's head

- A lack of doors in the security office, so any kid could wander in and tamper. (Jinx)

- Absurdly wide vents kids can easily fit into. (Jinx)

- Exposed Wires EVERYWHERE. (Jinx)

- Bathroom and Nightmarish Broken Robots are about 3 feet from each other if that. (DejectedAxe)

- Multiple Shifts done with the same cup and straw. (Breadspy)

- Mangle has likely caused at least 28 Stab Wounds. (BaldI)

- Broken down animatronics kept in a random room. (Zafzafrox)

- Giving the Nightguards a mask that can suffocate them. (Salty)

- The Party Rooms are in clear sight of vent openings, the security office, and the parts & service room. (Nuke)

FNAF 3 - Fazbear's Fright

- Openly acknowledging fire hazards but not bothering to fix them.

- Potentially stealing someone's cosplay head as a decoration.

- Using "authenticity" as an excuse for dangerous bits and pieces.

- The springlocks. Just, everything about them. (Salty)

- They kept a hostile animatronic for a week, and presumably would keep it longer had the place not burned down. (Salty)

- "Adding to the experience" by having systems REALLY break down for no reason.

- Allowing a Hot Dog to stay out in the open for a week or longer. (Breadspy)

FNAF 4 - Fredbear's Family Diner

- NEED I SAY ANYTHING ABOUT THE POOR KIDDO

FNAF SL - "Circus Baby's Pizza World"

- Engineers and Safety Standards People clearly didn't look at the animatronic blueprints, though this is more of their fault.

- HandUnit recognizes animatronics on stage based on unclear properties, allowing for the stunt of hanging the engineers.

- Carelessness for the Breaker Room's condition.

- Haphazardly storing Funtime Freddy in the clearly-breaking-down Breaker Room, and hoping he doesn't break out in the middle of a show.

- The Scooping Room's door is DANGEROUSLY far from the Scooper. (Th3all4r0undG4m3r)

- NO ONE tried to figure out why Circus Baby and friends left once. (Salty)

- Allowing animatronics KNOWN FOR MURDER be the star attraction. (Salty)

- Circus Baby's containment device is clearly visible. (Zafzafrox)

FFPS - Custom Pizzeria

- The existence of Lemonade Clown and Fruit Punch Clown.

- Candy Cadet's stories are NOT for kids.

- Lefty being allowed on during the day. (Salty)

- Security Puppet can easily be detained with lightweight boxes on it's own. (Salty)

- Purposely burning down the building, while it's open no less! (Salty)

- Music Man. (Salty)

- El Chip is pretty racist. (Plant)

FNAF: Help Wanted - Multiple Locations

- Cockroach Infestation (Salty)

(FNaF 3) the managers are fully aware of the whole animatronics roaming at night thing, yet they take no saftey precautions whatsoever despite planing to have an animatronic in the building

also- the animatronic they eventually got was surrounded by blood(unless someone cleaned it, which is entierly possible since the room was somehow resealed), Smelled like a dead body, and had a INCREADIBLY VISIBLE DEAD BODY inside it

(Fnaf SL) Being COMPLETELY AWARE that their animatronics had murderous intentions when two workers were hanged in the middle of the night, yet still continuing their business for years to come.

FFPS: Letting a random guard that they met like a week ago find out about secret blueprints about what Lefty is actually supposed to do, just by buying a fat baby.

Idk if that counts.

SL: People knowing Animatronics can OPEN their faces and show their endoskeletons and not worrying about how many children it could traumatize.

I'm just assuming because Afton was able to make a Freddy and Foxy animatronic without being sued.

-Having systems fail regularly with no explanation. Seriously, how did Phone Dude even consider the place had a scrap of a chance of making past Day 1?(FNAF 3)

-(Bit of a UCN thing, but Cassidy must've seen it from SOMEWHERE) Ducts so large animatronics can crawl through them.

-Having murderous a animatronics that could(and have) kill people roam around in the night.(All of them except FNAF 3, 4, FFPS

-Giving limited power to the guards that have their lives threatened, simply so they pay less of the power bill.(FNAF 1)

-Burning down a building, maybe with people inside the main part(FFPS)

-Music Man. He's a sin if anyone's ever saw one.

-Using robots you KNOW can and have killed people be star attractions. (Sl, FFPS(Funtime Chica))

-Having a litteral murder spree in the resteraunt. (FNAF 2)

Can't really blame them for the murder spree. They didn't know it would happen.

The murderer was WILLIAM HIMSELF. I think it counts.

Having Circus Baby's orange...containment...thingy....having that easily visible to everyone is a bad idea. Also, just leaving the withered animatronics in a random room in FNaF 2 is so stupid. Like, throw them out, for god sake!

Can't you just picture the health inspector's report?

FNaF3: citation for allowing the guard to leave a hotdog out unrefrigerated for five days.

FNaF2: citation for permitting the repeated use of disposable drinkware and straws. These should not be used for more than one shift, or by more than one individual, yet Jeremy Fitzgerald and Fritz Smith apparently used the same cup. It's now canon that Fritz contracted Jeremy's cooties through the drink cup and the viral-load of cooties proved to be fatal. That's why we see a gravestone for Fritz. Lore solved!
