Why does Golden Freddy in FNaF 2 look different than in FNaF 1?

Title says it all. If Golden Freddy is indeed the crippled form of Fredbear from the first diner, then wouldn't they look the same in the first two games?

I believe the Withereds were used for repairs after FNaF 2. Don't go by me though, I never completed FNaF 2 so I don't remember what Phone Guy says.

Yeah, but I looked at Golden Freddy's overall body structure in FNaF 2, and it looks completely different than it is in FNaF 1. Why would they repair him if they aren't going to use him?

No, I'm saying they used him for repairs, for spare parts, they didn't repair Withered Golden Freddy.

They're different models that's why. When the withered characters weren't withered they were meant to fit the time period. As time went on they were discontinued and used for parts for the toys.

But why is he missing parts in FNaF 2, and in FNaF 1 his face looks completely different and he isn't missing parts?

Because Withered Golden Freddy wouldn't of been the only animatronic used to make Golden Freddy, they would need more parts, but it would save them money to use as many as possible from WGF.

But Golden Freddy is a spare suit and wouldn't need to be repaired since he doesn't appear on-stage like Freddy, Bonnie, and Chica.

I believe he looks different because there were multiple restaurants with Fredbears before the Bite of '83 and they just got scrapped.

one explanation is that 2’s g.freddy was the real deal while the first game’s was simply a hallucination as the real g.freddy had been destroyed by this point

another explanation would be that g.freddy was planned to be brought back into the pizzeria, but was cancelled either due to bad publicity surrounding the character or some sort of incident

Golden Freddy obviously isn't the actual physical Fredbear suit, rather Cassidy shifting her appearance to look like Fredbear.
