that Springlock mask in sl isn’t spring baby’s but it’s part of a wave of what I call “gen 2 springlock suits”

Which have face plates. And that unique lip design that scrap baby also has

Scrap baby is spring baby.

Obviously spring baby didn’t have a big claw, that was a modification. But we can tell by looking at scrap baby’s face she has lips. If we look at the spring lock head from sl it also had lips. It’s eye socket is roughly the size of scrap baby’s eyes.

Also, if we look at scrap baby, she looks completely different than circus baby (besides withering). She has red in places where circus baby would have white.

She is also skinnier and shorter.

Her arms and legs are less bulky.

This is so that a person can fit inside. It’s shaped to fit a human.

As for how baby herself possessed this suit, keep in mind Ennard/molten Freddy kicked her out, and so she probably moved her spaghetti body to this suit.

You could argue that it’s “just a redesign like scraptrap”, but scraptrap isn’t a redesign per say but the on stage Bonnie from fredbears. We know this because scraptrap looks very similar to plushtrap and plushtrap was based off of onstage Bonnie (fredbears).

You may also argue scrap baby’s face has a nose, but that might be a modification by Scott to make sure it isn’t too obvious she’s spring baby.

(besides the mouth and a seam being closed between her eyes)

the night 4 springlock suit has faceplates that end at around the edges of the face, while baby's faceplates go all the way to the back of her head

the night 4 springlock suit is also missing several of the cracks that baby has between her eyes and on her forehead

Maybe spring baby is based off of the springlock suit we see in sl?
