Golden Freddy = Cassidy / Community Theory, suggest yours!
Here's what community thinks about lore, after a lot of discussion and agreement.

Basically;

William has only THREE child, Elizabeth Afton (Baby) and CC (people believe he is Shadow Freddy/ Nightmare) and Michael Afton (Purple boi)

Golden Freddy is a GIRL named Cassidy (Cassidy is unisex name https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cassidy_(given_name) ) (she might be boy tho, since In Books Cassidy is a girl but its a alternate universe so it doesnt really matter. who knows.)

In FNaF 1, when golden freddy appears there was a girl giggle sound, that's Cassidy. (it might be puppet. (i may be wrong in that one.))

in Survival Book, Cassidy was talking to Mike who he was and what he remember's.

in Survival Book, There was a name puzzle hints Cassidy name, and yet "its me" all over the puzzle, and Golden Freddy usually says "Its Me".

Golden Freddy actually was the first victim, the follow up is Puppet and etc.

Golden Freddy is actually FredBear himself. (i might be wrong in that one, but this game hints Golden Freddy is FredBear with FredBear Easter Egg.)

in Happiest Day minigame way back in FNaF 3, he was set free but he choosed to stay. and find his Killer to give him what he deserve's.

And Mangle is a unknown entity, in Animatronic,she is a Fox and her gender is Female. (You're welcome)

I’m still not using the whole novels as canon, just using little details in the novels that work with both canons. If it doesn’t fit game canon, then I don’t use it. Novel elements? All be did was use William and Henry's names! That's IT! Nothing else passes over.
The names of the MCI victims (save for Michael Brooks)? The fact that Susie had an animal that was killed by William who used it to lure her to her death (like Fruity Maze)? The fact that Henry and William were friends at one point and most likely opened Fredbear’s together? The fact that Henry went on his own and opened Freddy’s? The fact that William made robots meant to lure and capture children (granted the Twisted Animatronics were vastly different than the Funtime animatronics, but their purpose was the same)? There’s plenty of crossover and to just completely ignore the books and say they have no connection to the games whatsoever is ludicrous.

No, what?! Again, the dog exists to explain why Susie, the girl in the picture, trusted William! There's nothing that implies that a dog possesses Mangle!

No, what?! Again, the dog exists to explain why Susie, the girl in the picture, trusted William! There's nothing that implies that a dog possesses Mangle!

Then think like that, Every animatronic has a voice, child scream and even nightmare animatronics breathing. but Mangle has a static in FNaF 2. only Static. and dont tell be because mangle is broken because withered animatronics are broken too. even withered chica. but they do make humanoid sounds.

The only reason the other animatronics are possessed is because the Puppet gave life to them after the kids that possessed them were killed by William. I don’t even know if William was the one who stuffed the kids’ bodies in the suits as we see the Puppet putting the masks on the kids in the GIVE GIFTS, GIVE LIFE minigame.

How did she gets broken? while other animatronics arent broken and wont moving. i think that's william's stole her and used for remnant experiments.

it actually did, like i said timeline goes like FNAF 4-SL-2-1-3-6-UCN and we literally saw mangle laying down at elizabeth's bed.

because this minigame doesn't show where it happens. and yet she gives the old crew mask's.
i dont think Toy Animatronics are the same kids who died in 83-85-87'

William did it due to hide the evidence of murder. same thing happened in FNaF 1.
1. It kinda does have to be to imply that Mangle is possessed by a dog.

2. How did she get broken? Maybe the fact that she was constantly torn apart and put back together into a mangled mess of parts? Does that not look broken to you? Her voice box doesn’t even work properly, so there’s no telling what other systems were malfunctioning.

3. That’s not Mangle, just a toy. The animatronic itself didn’t exist until it was made to replace the old animatronics in the 1987 restaurant.

4. Maybe William did stuff the kids in the suits, maybe not. However, the Puppet was placing the heads of the old animatronics on the kids there showing that she/it was giving life to the animatronics by allowing the dead kids’ souls to possess the animatronics. There was no remnant experimenting going on there.

The same could be said for the five kids in the SAVETHEM minigame. The original five were already possessed by that time, and there are five kids and five animatronics: Toy Freddy, Toy Bonnie, Toy Chica, Toy Foxy (Mangle), and BB. They became possessed by the five other victims. If Mangle was already possessed by a dog then, then where did the fifth child go?

I can agree to that, it’s just we seem to be having trouble with the whole Mangle=dog theory.

I think it's obvious that Mangle did the bite of 87 and Mangle is possessed by another random kid who died in another missing childrens incidnet
