I know how he works, but I need to know some more useful things like does he leave faster if noise is at 0 or is it the same if the noise is at 1. Or does the music box do something for him? Leave some tips in the comments.

If you hear cymbals, stop making any sounds until they go away.

Noise. Depending on his A.I. Level he will activate quicker, and when you make a little bit of noise. Basically when you hear cymbals, turn off anything that causes noise. Eventually you’ll stop hearing cymbals, then you can start making noise again.

Music man isn't affected from global music box. (As far as I am aware)
He is triggered by sound, the more sound there is the faster he'll clash his cymbals, when this happens consider lowering your sound to 0 otherwise he'll jumpscare you.

Oh yeah, I also wanted to know if I should wait some time before I stop making noise because either way he won't leave instantly and the more I can run the power generator, the better.

Usually wait for it to either stop or slow down alot more... Rockstar Foxy's sound proofing is a good way to keep power generator and no sound. But it's best to stop sound in general.
