Dee Dee DOESN'T always add/change roster.

Sometimes, Dee Dee will appear simply to give you the FEAR that something new/harder is coming. However, when she's done singing her lyrics, she will sometimes sink back below the screen WITHOUT displaying "A new challenger has appeared!" and you won't hear that upwards, distorted guitar slide.

This has happened to me a lot on modes where all my active animatronics are at 20 (so nobody can simply just get harder). Dee Dee will show up exactly like I described, and my roster afterward is unchanged with the same point value.

Sometimes she's there, just for the scare. :)

It's even happened to Dawko and Markiplier on their streams on occasion.

Hopefully it's not a glitch, because it could get fixed later. I prefer it as a free Dee Dee Repel Trial Version, since she can still appear later on and actually do something.

Well DeeDee is also able to add "non-roster" Characters. "Hidden" Characters.
Spoiler: for example the minireenas, plushtrap or shadow bonnie.
Shadow Bonnie after added as a challenger will appear randomly in your office. So if you have luck, you might as well won't notice him getting added.
These are not shown when you see the roster again at the end ofc. but are still there.

Personally i've never noticed that DeeDee didn't add a new challenger.

You are right that she has the "invisible" roster. However, even when she adds those, you still get the "A new challenger" message and the guitar slide.

Further proof that you need the message and guitar noise to be sure someone is actually added. In 50/20 when Dee Dee does her black/white glitchy summoning spree. She only appears once, but you will continually get the new challenger alerts periodically for the next 20-30 seconds as she adds in the ones you brought up.
