Nightmare Chica

I was doing a 50/1 run and DD spawned Nightmare Chica. I saw a jaw closing in on me and when it fully closed, she killed me. How do I defend myself against her?

While I am not sure if this is true, but I heard that if you don't promptly pull up the monitor before the jaws close, she kills you.

I only read this from other sources, I haven't played the game myself and I might not play it because I want to keep myself away from most of the community.
