why no workshop mods?

like man why you getting mad? it would just make it more popular as i bet half the community has no idea about the maps. if it was on workshop? yeah, so chill out.

At the end of the day, it most likely comes down to expenses. Nothing in the world is free, and I'm sure Valve charge all Developers to use every single aspect of their Platform. You see many small Dev Teams not include Workshop.

Pretty sure mod.io will allow console users to download maps as well (ie. you can get maps for Descenders through mod.io integrated in the game menus) whereas Steam Workshop clearly won't . Sure it would be nice if they were also on Workshop but it's hardly a deal breaker :)
