That's weird that it works. My PC is very high end. Running this game at 4k was barely using any of my hardware. I reinstalled the game. Lowered graphics to min. It makes no difference. The game isn't even pushing my PC to half of its capabilities. It must be something the dev has in place to sync the game or keep the illusion of performance.
It only started doing this after joining a multiplayer session. My brother has no issue at all and his PC is half the speed of mine. I went and tested other games just to make sure it wasn't my PC doing something odd. Games with similar demanding physics. They all ran fine.
I ended up refunding. I can't even recall a game doing this to me before. Hmm
