would i pay $50 for streets 2? most likely,
i look at other premium games on steam like pga Masters for $90 or WWE for $80 and although not pertfect i really enjoy playing streets. its fun doing all the stuff in a video game i could never do in real life. i do not play first person shooters or RPG games or many other games for trhat matter. i get whatever fun i can get from streets and i also like my American Truck / ES2 and Bubble Bobble both retro and new version as well as Yousican for playing guitar etc. so i am more of a casual gamer than hardcore and i dont feel ripped off with the game i got for the price.
i am not going to let the games current state from taking away my happiness playing it.
until something better is released a not perfect BMX game still intrests me more than a lot of other and sometimes more expensive games which probably a value for the people who really enjoy them as their faveourite types of games.
It's not about the Game not being fun, it CAN be fun, however a "fun game" doesn't negate all of the issues that was thrown our way for the price he was asking. Not to mention he had plans to move straight into another project afterwards.
Mash still doesn't really understand what the issues are, and this is evident from a clip of an upcoming interview of him, where he says "I didn't lower the price to scam people"..... The ORIGINAL PRICE was too high, and the LOWERED PRICE is still too high for the broken Content it contains.... No one AT ALL has claimed the price was lowered as a Scam tactic....
Developers in their mind can say what is completed or not, it's their product, however when the Gaming Industry is crumbling when it comes to actual passion and quality put into the work which is diminishing quickly, people just continue to support half arsed work, because "low Quality" seems to sell great in this current day and age.
Releasing this buggy mess at this price [and still current one], then acting like a hurt child lashing out with smart arsed remarks, was just Mash Games pissing on the PC Community. I love how we turned around and took a big fat dump on his efforts though.
Seriously Mash.... the character was constantly floating above and below the ground surface.... and you claim this Game was 100% Complete?????? -smh- Every single owner of BMX Streets suffered from this.... this was NOT a bug... this was simply lazy Development....
Not obsessed at all, just sick of lazy Developers taking advantage of the Gaming Community. Start bringing us QUALITY for a change.
Soooooo, no. =]
I hope you don't want your Bikes to save lol, you know, all those amazing Parts that Mash preached to us. Yup, completely broken.
Simply because the Market for BMX Games is small and not so great, doesn't justify this Game being "the best" out there. The Physics over-rule all the other BMX Games imo, but the overall work put into everything else was well below par and the other Games win by a long shot.
It's still made by a Lazy Developer who decided that your character constantly walking below and above the Ground was acceptable work and was the final product.
So at the end of the day, Mash knew what would sell his Game and how to scam his audience by releasing such a buggy mess for the original $80 he asked for it [and even it's current lowered price still doesn't justify many of the Main features don't even work].
I'd love a great BMX Game, sadly BMX Streets isn't it. Maybe BMX Streets 2 will be better in a couple years when it gets released...
Just like all you fanthey/thems drool over me everytime I post. Lol. Time to move on with your life I guess, cause I ain't going nowhere.
Mainly because your ego is far to wounded to leave
Just like you assume everyone has to agree with you otherwise they must be a "*Insert term here*".
Reality is gonna hit you like a ton of brick's one day :'D
