"Bro, Mash is on the case bro, it's Mash bro, he will succeed bro" This is the response you will usually get from fangirls.

The reality is that Mash f'd up big time, and instead of fixing his broken Game, he is redoing it so "Consoles can have a better experience", [straight from Mash's own mouth], but after that? Well, I guess we will just see if he bothers "fixing" anything.

Unfortunately that's the reality of it.

Feel free to read this, it has quotes from Mash for what he is actually doing, as well as my thoughts on why he released this mess in the first place.

Careful though, you may have a Topic aimed at you as well if you keep it up, because the fangurls can be quite toxic when their master is being targeted.

It's funny what GuineaTigg just said, "how you can never be seen as someone in the middle with an unbiased opinion" like me, yet ends up being a hypocrite and claims I'm one sided, NOR even reads my post like he's told me before. So obviously he must be right? Lol.

I've said many times the Game has a lot of potential, yet under the current Development, it's clearly in the wrong hands of someone who is inexperienced in both Development, and running a Business.

Also funny how one can claim that I do not get my information from the main form of communication such as Mash Games Discord.

It's also funny that they always tend to avoid the obvious, and obviously doesn't read everything Mash says, otherwise they would have seen a Post Mash pinged me in.. saying;

The goal is to get it as solid as possible so Xbox have a better version than launch since the day one version was not up standards for most people. I can't make updates and fixes daily like I can for pc so this is working out nice for now to improve the release version for Xbox.

Game also had to release when it did other wise there would have been no game at all. Money all gone"

Funny again that in his reply to me, was also contradicting what this individual claims as "WE pushed Mash to release it", when clearly Mash has stated word for word "it needed to release, or it wouldn't have released at all".

Also the fact when he states "it's only possible now the game is public and feedback can be taken".... like what an Early Access provides? However, the reasoning for this will be mentioned later -cough "greed" cough-

Every bit of my information I have been posting on these Forums, are all directly from what I see Mash saying, and doing on Discord.

As I tend to get accused of "assuming", let me share my actual assumptions on the current situation.

PIPE was Mash Games first project once he started studying, so clearly a new Developer with BMX Streets being their second project. Obviously as with everything, when you are freshly learning, what you create will be very limited in the long run.

So as Mash was building BMX Streets over the past 7ish years, new idea's came about, new knowledge was learned, which resulted in many roadblocks as implementing this new knowledge would require rewrites of much of the Game.

So here's my ASSUMING part; Mash Games knew that with what he had currently learned, he needed to do a lot of work to get it implemented. As money was starting to run low though, and the Community showing a real interest, Mash saw an opportunity to cash in.

BMX Streets was put on the Market as a Full Released Game, and for a WHOPPING $79AU originally. This tactic would boost his Bank Account as the Hype that he created for the Game was very successful.

While his bank account grew, he could then afford to work on his next project "BMX Streets 2" which he could implement all of what he had learned during his Development training.

So Mash had been honest from the start of this release that he had plans to start work on BMX Streets 2. HOWEVER, due to a very shoddy release, and honest negative feedback, he knew he had to go into Damage Control.

So the plans of starting BMX Streets 2 was now no longer a thing, but once you commit to something, the best way out of it is to continue your commitment, hence why the current rebuild is essentially what he was planning on doing "building BMX Streets 2"

The only thing I'm here voicing my opinion over, is the fact that I'm tired of Development Company's who treat the Gaming Community as trash.

The way Mash has handled this release is not about "passion", it was ALL about "greed". He kept the Development to himself, and he made the finale choice on "how finished his Game was".

There is absolutely no excuse to not have this Game released as an Early Access, except from the insanely high price it was put on the Market for, just screams nothing but "money and greed" as releasing in Early Access would limit his pricing to justify a Game under Development.

IF he were in it for the Community, WE would have been a part of it's Development.

This is a Full Released Game by Mash Games standards, and it doesn't matter if "Mash is working on it", it's not about that, it's again, about the dying Gaming Industry due to Developers like Mash who aren't here for passion, but to profit only.

The garbage that he says about "it needs to release on Consoles to be successful" is also a load of bs. If this Game was handled correctly in the first place, it would have THRIVED BIG TIME. This would have allowed Mash Games to have a solid name as a Developer, and to build up his bank to eventually start work on BMX Streets 2 so Consoles can join the entertainment.

Due to the way it was handled, and even though "Mash is on the case", from what he has demonstrated, has not given much hope that "he will succeed", because all we see at the moment, is still greed for wanting it on Consoles to earn more money, rather than the PC players WHO HAVE ALREADY BOUGHT THE GAME get treated well and we get our broken Game fixed as a priority.

I have been a part of many EA Games, and regardless on what happens in an EA, I have no issues at all. I bought On a Roll back when it was still in Development, yet once it was abandoned I had very little to say on the matter, because EA's are a risk as the Projects are currently in Development, and the fine print states that anything can change at any time. That's all on me.

So people can drone on and on about how "he is fixing the Game at the moment", all I see is him building BMX Streets 2, with no intent to fix the problems us PC Players are suffering with, especially when he throws in statements that would just prolong anything for absolutely no reason at all, such as;

So clearly not in any rush because building "30 more tricks" is what's going to fix this Game....He is more than happy to keep this Game on the Market without mentioning a word anywhere on the Platform that he sells it on what's going on.... Why do you think there is absolutely no word on Steam about the Experimental builds he's currently been uploading??? Well... that would be an incredibly dumb thing to have on a Fully Released Store Page..

Even then he is still hindering his own Development through Community Feedback. Not everyone cares for Discord, so not everyone would even know there are experimental builds currently. The only people who really do, are majority of just fanboi's who will say any lump of crap Mash produces is orgasmic.

His attitude can also be disgusting and unprofessional, such as;

or the 500+ hoours with negative review"

Although I will completely 100% agree with the 0.1hr reviews, the 500+ ones should be the ones to take seriously... as you know.... they are the people who have HONESTLY given the Game a very good chance, and came out with an honest negative review... but they can "f off" Mash??? Seriously??? They are part of what makes your community... How disrespectful...

Grow up Mash, you clearly don't know what a "good Game" is due to you thinking this was up to par for a $79AU release price...

Or when someone mentioned the Custom Bikes save... because you know... it was Hyped up fkn big time by Mash and doesn't even work properly.... But here's a very mature response on this matter...

Originally posted by Mash Games via BMX Streets Discord:

So yeah, gives me so much hope that Mash knows what he's doing, and is capable of actually making stuff work like... he did the first time??? =\

Desperation , money , perhaps he got bored of the discord spam regarding the game, perhaps all 3. Truth be told though early access should have been used , even if the price didn't change. That's not a pre requisite for early access games.

I think once he announced the release dates for pc and console wouldn't line up.he should have called this early access

But what's done is done, aslong as he's working on improving the game, that's better than the other option he could have taken

I also don't entirely understand why he's fully focused on parkour currently but... I'm not against it, i just don't understand why or if it's just necessary partly so he's adding more than he needs

Not sure why you are still trying to assume the reason.. Mash has already been open it had to do with Money, as I've already posted...

"Game also had to release when it did other wise there would have been no game at all. Money all gone"

https://imgur.com/OVY0CtQ

So it was released [at an original ridiculous price] in a desperate attempt to make money so he can build Streets 2, as was his plan, as already stated by Mash himself, as I've already posted in one of my many Topics apparently.

The guy screwed over the Community. Full Stop.
