If this game doesn't include flatland tricks I will be beyond gutted, they claim on the store page (We built BMX Streets to be the ultimate BMX video game), Well Mat Hoffmans pro bmx 2 was and still is the ultimate bmx video game because it had flatland which is why it scored 94% and was the most fun I have ever had on any game even to this day my favourite game of all time and that came out on Playstation 2 in 2002. after expexting matt hoffmans pro bmx 3 and it just never appearing I was honestly depressed for several years as a result and I have been waiting ever since then for another bmx game with flatland. It makes no sense to me that no bmx game has been released with flatland tricks since 2002, easily the biggest wind up I have ever experienced in 46 years of life, if this turns into yet another bmx game without the most fun and addictive beautiful feature then no words will be able to describe how upset I will be and a Playstation 2 game from 22 years ago will still be the most fun bmx game ever, I pray they don't miss the most obviously essential gameplay element but 22 years is a LOT of pointless wasted bmx game releases from people who could have easily made millions in sales if they included the thing that makes bmx gaming hundreds of times more fun and addictive, the mind boggles, i'm bracing for another game to be destroyed by a 22 year old ps2 game ---I had to get all that off my chest cos as my biggest pet hate of all time I've been bottling it up since 2002.

one of these days we will get what we can do in real life in a bmx game like fufanus and foot jams and a whole lot more lol that would be sick.

So you want to press the buttons and not have to press any stick in any direction? Directional input is the ONLY way to have true sandbox controls for games like this. You'd be limited to, like, 10% of the tricks.

I would say it has something to do with the fact that basically no one cares about flatland. And it's hard to develop.

Bro you're crazy. The trick controls that Skate pioneered are the best and you can bet that BMX Streets will be the same, like PIPE before it.

the way dave mirras freestyle bmx 2 for ps2 had its controls was perfect, if they did something along the same lines of that it would be amazing

This mindset is laughable, you’re comparing THPS to Skater XL here, they’re completely different games trying to accomplish completely different things. This wasn’t made to be a combo smashing arcade game. If that’s what you’re looking for you won’t find it here. The developer has had an amazing idea in mind for the last several years and a community to back it. You’re obviously not part of that community and it doesn’t sound like you’ll enjoy this.
if this is an arcadey game its def not a cop. ♥♥♥♥ wack people dont wanna try to get better at mechanics and wants the most simple gameplay ever. L Take
