Yeah, I saw this on Discrod. We'll try to solve that, but I'm afraid that this is your system or Discrod fault and can't be fixed in the game.

Even with the Micophone Privacy Settings enabled in my Windows 10 (and my microphone working), the game won't let me turn the in-game option on.

I am having the same issue. Changing any microphone setting doesn't do anything. The game simply does not recognize any voice command ingame.
The microphone is working fine and the app has access to the mic according to privacy settings. Also tried to close TeamSpeak and Discord, which did not help either.

Same issue here, doesn't show up in Microphone privacy settings, and voice control won't do anything ingame.

Apparently, it doesn't even request permission from the OS. Any way to access the log to confirm the issue?

I'd like to bump this thread because I'm having the same issue. I got no permission request notification and all my settings are already giving permission to applications that use my microphone.

I'm in a similar boat where RC doesn't show up amongst the list of desktop apps requesting microphone access. I've tried restarting PC, reinstalling RC and trying to disallow other apps using my mic with no success.

It would be handy if the game had a similar feature to Phasmophobia, where you could test the voice recognition within the settings menu

There are a couple of people at the bottom reporting the same issue that voice (not even voice recognition, just voice totally) won't work in game, there's even not any trace to be found in Privacy Settings. Literally the same thing happens to me now, I got a brand new headset and it works perfectly while testing the audio. Could you please look into this?

Same problem over here, with Windows 10 and enabling permissions, but Radio Commander does not appear in the list of applications.... I also tried giving Administrator permissions to the executable and nothing.

Help, please!!!

What is run mode?

How to always run an app elevated on Windows 10
Search for the app that you want to run elevated.
Right-click the app shortcut and select Properties.
Click on the Shortcut tab.
Click the Advanced button.
Check the Run as administrator option.

in this case, make sure that the steam executable has this unchecked.
