Thief Weapons

For detective and professor, the weapons are pretty self explanatory. On the thief, I have now seen 3 different types of knives. Army knife I am guessing is just stronger? maybe? Translucent I have no idea, and some ritual knife that based on description has poison damage. Would it be possible to get more detailed descriptions so I know what exactly I'm using and so I can choose based off of that info?

The Army knife, as you well say, inflicts more damage. The translucent dagger stuns the enemies. It is a very visual effect, not difficult to figure out.

One of the most interesting elements of the game is actually discerning the features of the items by using them, and learning their properties.
