SECRET ROOMS - SPOLIER - HOW TO FIND lol

I don't wanna ruin anything, I found the answer accidentally in the forums, but on my.....I dunno, let's call it like 5th attempt to play the mansion, all of a sudden I found a store, a curse room, a special item, the fact that money is a currency.

Just my 2 cents, but special rooms like this shouldn't be hidden, I ran around for an entire hour of playtime and never found any lol, maybe tooltips on the fact that secret rooms exist, or a small tutorial "forcing" you to "discover" one...without holding your hand too much about how to spot them....

I accidentally shot a bloody treasure chest....I think that sucks, now I have to reset the run maybe make really important ones immune to being shot by the player. Blown up....eh....explosives are dangerous, but ♥♥♥♥, one misclick set me back half hour lol....

i have bought an item that lets me see the level layout, i see secret rooms on it, but have not been able to access them, i have tried melee the wall, grenades/tnt at the wall, all to no avail. Am i being dumb or is there some way to open the access to these rooms?

Hello, Have you tried to press "E" like when you open a regular door? You will recognize the walls with secret doors because there is a stain of blood on the floor next to it.

i feel so dumb LOL.. im sure you heard the slap of my hand hitting my forehead. tried rolling at the marked walls etc THEN tried the interact button... thats old age for ya hahahaha

I'm trying to find the secret doors but I can't find ANY of them. There is blood everywhere. I feel like I'm back in Classic DooM where you knock on every inch of the wall to find something. And yes I press A (controller) and look at blood. D:

Edit: Nevermind. Now I'm cursed by Nyarlathotep and trade with Lovecraft and Hastur. Had to turn the Gamma brightness up so I could see better.

You can find it on the map, if you will use the item to open map - Eye of Azathoth.
