3tene
VRM.NotVrmOException error
I had a model rigged on mixamo, exported as FBX for unity, imported into unity, got uniVRM plugin, everything exports fine from Unity but the VRM is giving me issues when I try to import it into 3 tene.

The error message is

Failed To Read Vrm File.
Exception of type ' VRM.NotVrmOException' was thrown.

What can cause this issue?

I did not touch Unity3D alltogether, you need the VRM export plugin in Blender, and you need to link the textures, the VRM exporter plugin in Blender will tell you what's missing

It comes down to
1. Bone naming convention wrong
2. Texture not re-rigged for VRM

Both can be done in blender you don't really need to touch unity

Ok, so i validated the model and it said it was ok (Some modifier on the body was apparently causing issues) but then 3tene spits up the same error without any changes.

yeah im beginning to wonder if 3tene is just not gonna work. i used the same method to get a VRM for a game that lets you import them and it worked fine, im not sure what to do lol

Can't remember exact process, but I got things to work quite consistently, you need to remap the texture in the VRM plugin in Blender which is another process in itself, will link if I find it again
