Movavi Video Editor Plus

Movavi Video Editor Plus

layering multiple videos, they all seem to be linked and ripple, cant move?
If i have a video track in place, its been split into sections, i want some of the video to go in its own video track, separate from the main one so i can adjust the volume on those clips. It seems if you add a video track and try to drag cut clips up to that area, the rest of the main video wants to stay linked to the above track, that is, no way to drag the remainder of the clips to the right to follow after the newly created track above, its like ripple is being forced

Is there a way to do this properly?

Hello!

In order to unlink the overlay (or any other additional) track from the main track, you can use the "Hide Track" button, which looks like an eye symbol on the left side of the timeline next to each of the additional tracks.

Thanks for that reply, the eye symbol makes that above track go hidden, i just want to be able to move the second video track to the "right" of the above track, but they seem to be linked to the start of the timeline and it wont let me.

Hello!

We apologize for the misunderstanding. The feature you mentioned appeared only in Video Editor Plus 15 / Video Suite 18. Unfortunately, there is no such possibility in older versions of Movavi products.

Best regards,

That was the version i was referencing, though seems you can drag sections of the timeline above each other, i just couldnt figure out how to turn on/off ripple edits to that section.
