In order to unlink the overlay (or any other additional) track from the main track, you can use the "Hide Track" button, which looks like an eye symbol on the left side of the timeline next to each of the additional tracks.

We apologize for the misunderstanding. The feature you mentioned appeared only in Video Editor Plus 15 / Video Suite 18. Unfortunately, there is no such possibility in older versions of Movavi products.
