How do I use the Gnome Engine?
I have the Gnome engine connected to the bottom of the fuel tank which has a fuel type of Kerolox. I even toggled on the fuel line setting but still no change. At the launch pad I press the space bar and nothing. I can see the engine is activated but the fuel tank is not draining.

I assume you've throttled up? If so, it should be working. You could upload the craft to the website and post a link here so we can take a look.
I have the same problem. I only have a command thing, a fuel tank with kerolox and a gnome engine. The engine does not produce any thrust when activated, it does not matter which stage it is in, or whether I manually activate it or not. Do we have to do anything different to solid propellant engines when adding a kerolox one?

Edit: I just checked the sandbox mode and I can confirm that none of the liquid engines work in my game. I even loaded the "SimpleCargo" rocket, and it also does nothing when I stage it.

Did you change any of the properties of the gnome engine? Our engines are basically specific configurations of one very generic engine part. It may start out as a Gnome engine when dragging it out of the part list, but you cant change it into any other type of engine by modifying its part properties. In the part properties, ensure both the engine and the fuel tank its attached to are using the same fuel type.
Nope, just dragging and dropping the engines and the fuel tanks. I also tried to change the engine type etc. from the menus later, but they also don't fix the problem.
I also verified the game files through steam and it did nothing. I'm gonna try to reinstall the game tomorrow. I'll edit this if that fixes it.

Had glitch once where it was showing my rocket with no delta V (maybe no engines.

I had to switch primary command to another disc/chip (or even astronaut) and then back and it fixed everything. might be worth a try.

Just to be clear... you are throttling up in addition to activating the engine, correct? The first solid engine you get in career mode doesn't require throttle, but the others do.

Welp, I'm a dumbass I guess. Got too used to playing the game with just the mouse and thought the throttle was adjusted through the menu that shows up when you click on the engine. I was wondering what all of the bars under the navball meant...

I have the same problem. I have enabled the fuel line. I activated the engine, and I throttle up. I don't even see the rocket shaking. My initial TWR was about 1.5. I upped that to about 2 or maybe a bit higher. Nothing. What am I missing?

I was having an issue like this earlier after I activated my joystick for a plane. I tied the throttle to my throttle slider on the stick and then I couldn't launch a rocket using the keyboard controls anymore, as they seemed to be overridden by the joystick. I disabled the joystick controls and then the keyboard worked again, though I had to use the shift key to throttle up before I could get Z/X keys to work again. It was showing no fuel and no delta-v until I managed to throttle up the engine finally.

Is that your surface TWR or vacuum?

That was my surface. At least I think so. I will go check.

Yes, I just looked it was at surface. When I enable the rocket, and then increase throttle to full, the amount of fuel does not go down. It stays at 100%, so it is like the engine is not lit. Is there something else I should do? Thanks for the help.

You could upload the rocket and paste a link here so we can take a look.

Is there any other way to upload a rocket without creating a separate account with you guys? I have the same problem, just wanted to upload it, but I don't want to have yet another login somewhere, just to get a simple issue sorted out.
