It depends on the OS you are using. On Windows I have been told that you can open the .sr2-mod file with the SimpleRockets 2 program. On MacOS I think you have download the .sr2-mod file and copy it to the SimpleRockets 2 Mods folder. On MacOS the mods folder is located at "~/Library/Application Support/com.jundroo.SimpleRockets2/Mods". Once the file is copied you will need to restart SimpleRockets 2, and the use the Mods option from the main menu to load the mod. I believe you can also use this procedure on Windows, but the folder location ins somewhere in you `Application Data` folder.

On linux it was two steps to find my mods folder:
1. Open a Terminal from your steam directory. (I had steam in my home folder, so I just opened a terminal there)
2. Run the command: find -name "SimpleRockets 2"

It should output a directory. Mine looked like this:
/home/USERNAME/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/IDNUMBER/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/AppData/LocalLow/Jundroo/SimpleRockets 2/

The mods folder is in that folder.

Good luck future linux modders.
