No multiplayer ?
Even after simple planes ?

Because the game will have time warp features so you don't have to wait a real week to finish a mission for example, meaning that multiplayer wouldn't work in many forms. It would be very annoying to be trying to carefully dock two ships together and then your friend goes to 500x warp speed to get to smenus. Now there could be other modes of multiplayer like time trial stuff, but for multiplayer in the sense of two players in the sandbox, it just wouldnt work. If you do want a way to play with your friends though heres an idea, do a space race: you and your friend(s) can make a list of things to accomplish (Make a space station, orbit the smoon, etc) and then see who can do everything on the list first. So yeah I know it sorta sucks there won't be multiplayer most likley but it just wouldnt work but you might be able to find some fun in stuff like the space race idea or something idk.

but they say build Rovers , planes , so whats the point if we cant race or dogfight

True, but multiplayer does add quite a lot of content and playability which does not already exist as well as prompt more people to try getting their friends into the game. Simple planes is something I could see multiplayer benefitting substantially largerly due to the competitive modes where quite honestly the AI are just too dumb to provide any real challenge. It would make sense in simple planes but this, not really

Multiplayer in games like these is possible, ofr KSP there is a multiplayer mod which allows time synchronization. You won't be able to see the other player unless you select time sync which automatically warps you to the same time the other player is in. Sounds complicated, but it is simple.

yeah , or add a party mod or something for just ground vehicles or stuff

They are not lazy, it's just that they are a small independent game dev team without funding from bigger companies. They can't afford to put the time and money into it.

All they have to do is implement a "on rails" system like KSP did. Its not that big a deal. Even KSP multiplayer mod LMP/DMP use time warp. Give me a break like @Brixxter Lo said in post above just put it on rails then time sync to the player you are trying to meet . It may not be correct in relativistic terms but thats ok. Everything else physics wise would be. Thats good enough for me and would make the game fun. (devs if you have any questions on this goto Luna Multiplayer discord and talk to dagger or Darklight over there. They would be happy to answer any questions related to this topic. Thumb up to RacerX's comment. Modders made it for KSP, and they made it well. There are hundreds of people on Luna's Discord (which is still in bêta), so i guess that request deserves at least some consideration. :Khappy:
