That's all I needed to know... So With my bare minimum standard of if the game gives me more play time then it takes to make that much at min wage. Really fails for this game. National min wage is 7ish x 6 hours = 42.
They gotta at least make the game have enough content to warrant a min wage worker sacrificing that hour of pay.
I spend $5 backing this game and the fact my email says I'll be getting all 3 parts for free is fine by me for $5.
But I don't understand how they only got through Part 1 of the game in 3 years of development with the massive amount of money they backed. That's the part that is confusing me here. I've seen games that had no kickstarter backing, were absolutely massive in size and gameplay length, and were only in development for 1-2 years with teams smaller than 30 people.
So I'm a little sus on where all that time and money went in 3 whole years.
So we don't need to spend more to get the rest of the story?
At only five bucks? Maybe there's gonna be a deal or something down the line for those who bought the first chapter through normal means. At the very least, the other two parts are gonna be cheaper, unless they confirmed the prices too.
Also, I heard one of the key writer's tragically lost a loved one, hence the delay.
Point out that the store page was updated with the info that this is an episodic game and that it is short (speedrun my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ass, normal gameplay time is 2h) POST RELEASE. I bought it on release and this info wasn't there. It was added after the flood of negative reviews. Steam customer service can verify this. If you bought the game prior to this change you can still get a refund!
Finally, there is a topic in this forum where the dev states that this is a ''full length game'' lol it is on page 3 or 4, do some digging, I don't want to point it out completely and have this nice piece of evidence removed.
Point these two out to the customer service, blame false advertising and you will get refunded. You're welcome :)
Thank you, friend, I sent mine in. I still want to play this, but I'll pick up the full bundle on a bigger sale.
Do what this dude did and get a refund
