-Nice! ^^
also I might of read it earlier but maybe more clarification; will you have special visitors like in sim golf where you can buy more land or you can get a tournament going based on your course, or a person who reviews your golf course?
-In orginal version there is all of thease if i remember.
It's come pc for now, at least. I dunno Mac or Linux version jet. x3
It'll come for Mac, PC, and Linux. Thinking of a Switch version later on!
-Yes you'll have certain VIP visitors that can popup on your resort for a round or to endorse it, give it a review and whatnot.
-Same for having someone to review your course and give it a rating! So your course won't get automatically rated as you build it. You'll have a lot of data available regarding the holes, player performance etc. When you think you are ready, you can request a visit from the review committee person to check out the course and rate it. They'll visit, play a round, check out the installations, give their rating and the reason why. These visits will be arranged before it happens, so you'll have to schedule them and make sure everything is going ok for the big day.
-You'll be able to buy more land on some scenarios; in other scenarios, you'll be stuck with the land you start.
-You can also try and get your course included into a pro tournament, or host your own tournament for whatever cause etc. You'll be able to set the prize money and whatnot, to try and attract higher caliber visitors/golfers.
Like x numbers visitors per year or avarage & their feedback (positive/negative) = course rating 1-5 start(s).
If player can create or edit players, you can add/remove meaby their "likes", what they like or not in golf course. Some can hate course if there is too much bunkers or water traps or meaby course not was enought clean.
Some meaby can like those or just service quality or chanlenges. Player have to choose or create course(s), that can fit every player person. If course was too chalenge, starter players can't improve there or get good scores, they left courses with negative feedback & come back in next year.
Or if courses was too chalenges, pro players not get enought chalenges there, they get all of time good scores there, that not mean then they don't like that but, it's harder to win pro players if there is none chalenges there, that can give change for basic players beat pro player in some courses when tournament is on.
You'll also have it broken down based on golfer level, so you could have a firmer grasp on what type of golfer your course ranks better (Master golfers, beginner golfers etc)
Yes, likes and dislikes are something I'll be adding on the next batch of AI improvements. Things like decoration elements, types of grass, size of green/fairway etc will also be factored in.
Balancing the ratings and "enjoyment" of the different kinds of golfers will always be a challenge, and will be exploited in scenarios as well! Don't forget that if players don't enjoy the course, they won't sign up for membership, robbing you of some good source of money!
-Fine, good to know. Let's see this in action later when game released. :3
This is also idea/point for this, when you create new course or player pre-ready course, you don't need to start over or create new player/manager everytime so, you can use current old one with out lose his/her skills. In story/career mode that can be other point then but, in other game build/freefroam modes. :3
Going off from your idea, I've toyed around with the idea of "assuming control" of NPC players on your golf course. Click on them, then press a button on the panel to assume control of their actions and whatnot. At least in a freeplay mode so you don't end up cheating your way through the scenarios haha!
For sure, I want you to be able to take your player profile and go on different courses, and even have him or her show up on your regular game. Say you created 4 players, and are using one on a scenario; the other 3 could show up on your scenario by chance etc.
Also, i hope i can use or select multiple players/game profile, that can play in same single course, in any course. I don't mean or meaby, that you can play with AI in same course with multiple controlled player but, it's fun to have. :3
