directx createdevice returned an error 0x887a0004

I just bought the game and I can't start it up as I always get the same message. There was a discussion back in 2018 where they seemed to have the same problem https://steamcommunity.com/app/868520/discussions/2/1744478429694448548/ and they solved it by uninstalling Duet Display, a program I do not have.

Apparently you get a similar error with some Telltale games.

I've attempted updating the DirectX End-User Runtime Web, the drivers, and even this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=121&v=r2WZLWcHeNk . Nothing worked for me. Can anyone give a hand? I don't know what to do anymore... I have Windows 7, Intel Family Graphics HD and DirectX 11 btw

No, I haven't, sorry. I ended up playing the game on PS2.

do every thing that video tells you but instead add Killer7Win.exe as the file name and then press the force on option

i just bought the game yesterday had the same problem but it worked thanks to your instructions it crashed on tutorial so i just disabled anti aliasing and now its working very well
