Stuff like Castlevania works cause the source is pretty simple, and they are allowed to still be flexible with it. Like giving characters with very little character, stronger personalities (like Sypha, Trevor, Maria, Annette). And then still having parts from the game story to connect it together. Like taking a set of characters and putting them in the French Revolution for the newest season is different but also fitting
A game that would fit that style well is more of Legacy of Kain series. Already strong story and writing but could benefit from episodes that show how the world works more
That's like making a Let It Die movie.
Yeah, it would be really hard to keep that scenario intact since it only really works with how the game shows everything else.
